Hmmmm…I didn’t post last week.
This is where we stood last week…
Not one spare inch in the deep freeze.
Nada.

Shopping. Over my attempted $50 a week again. I splurged on the Feta, that was $10 but with summer here we will be eating a lot of Mediterranean type dishes so I grabbed it. The bag of Almonds was another $10. But, I’ve used up most of my nut stash from the freezer, at least all the oddball stuff. From now on I’m sticking with my three favorites, Pecans, Walnuts and Almonds.

No fridge or freezer pics. They pretty much look the same except the crisper drawers are still full of veggies because I didn’t get a lot of menu cooking done last week. We are starting to get in to our summer rainy season and our weather patterns are changing. It was stormy, rainy and dreary all day, every day last week and that really put a damper on my mood not to mention no good light for good food pics.
So, I didn’t need a whole lot of veggies this week. But once again, over my self imposed budget of $50 but still within my true budget of $80. And BJ’s FINALLY came out with a toilet paper coupon! My stash was getting low and I was starting to get worried, LOL! So I grabbed a pack. That blew me out of the water at $21 (after coupon). I also bought a package of bacon from Aldi to give it a test drive. We’ve never had it before and since it’s a little bit cheaper than what I normally buy I thought I’d try it out.
