Those Pita’s are preying on my mind. I’m thinking a Pita Pizza is in my future.
See those four bell peppers? Let me tell you what my Frugal Fanny did today.
I had originally purchased green and red peppers at Walmart today. I was so shocked at the sticker price of almost $7.00 that the cashier had enough time to finish ringing up my order before I could ask her take them off. Since I had a line behind me I didn’t want to be a pain so I walked out with them and promptly headed to Aldi to round out my shopping trip. Found those four peppers for less than $3.00! I happily marched through the parking lot, pulled the Walmart peppers from my trunk and backtracked to Wallyworld where I un-happily marched up to the Service Desk and promptly told the clerk I had purchased those peppers just moments before and since I have more time than money these days she could have her peppers back.
Total Today: $60.57 Not bad considering I also bought a case of water and trash bags that jacked my bill up by $17.00.
